I've got a beautiful Double-Oval Craftsman Vanadium here. The natural patina has aged this head so well, but hasn't affected its usability in the slightest! It is ready to work! The stamp is crisp and so is the 3² stamp (on the reverse side) that isn't so common. I cleaned up the head and gave it a 17.5* Flat-grind as the secondary bevel while leaving the primary bevel at 25* degrees. The mirrored bit will only add to its smooth operation while chopping, splitting or limbing.
The Premium hickory handle is a WhiskeyRiverTradingCo 30c. With much refinement, the finished hang length came to 28⅜". It fitted tight with one of my Designer wedges as well.
