The original pitting on this head is crazy uniform all the way around. It's just beautiful.
Getting into it. This Jersey got a makeover! Including a 17.5 degree flat grind (that is polished to near mirror), a cleaning and new coat (or 5) of cold blue. The head is hung on perfect grain hickory 28c French curve style handle (handle made by WhiskeyTiverTrading). The wedge is from my Exotic line. This one includes White Oak, Padauk, Bacote and a touch of brass. The axe has a finished length of 26¾" and the overall weight is 4lb 8.4 oz.
This axe is perfect for felling trees and is ready for another lifetime of use!
