These pictures really do not do this axe justice. This National has a full head patina-polish and it is super shiny! The 4" mirrored bit sports a 27.5 degree bevel with a micro bevel. 2lb 5.7oz is the over-all weight and it is hung on a 19⅝" hickory handle from Woody's. Topping it off I used a Zebra wood wedge.
This axe is ready for your camping trip or your wall as a display.
As a side note: The "Victory" stamp was only used between 1946-1953. This makes it one of the most easily identifiable axes to date. This stamp was also Plumb Tool's response to the end of WW2.
