This is an all around great axe for any light duty work, camping or for getting your youth into the woods. With an overall weight of 2lb 12oz and 4" bit, it is easy to control. The very clean and original patina/paint just adds to the nostalgia of this old tool brought back to life. It features a 20 degree polished bevel on the bit. I made the handle from American White Ash. It has a Bacote palm swell and polished brass lanyard tube. It is wedged with Dark walnut and finished out to 25¼".
