This 5lb Council Tool Splitter is simply epic! It makes for an awesome fireside splitter and conversation starter!
I cleaned up the entire head finish and tuned up the poll with some beautiful bevels! Then i went to work on the edge. The mirrored bit is sitting at 30 degrees. I hung it on a 19C Hickory handle from WhiskeyRiver Trading co and roasted the handle for a touch of caricature. I topped it off with one of my Exotic wedge featuring WhiteOak, Padauk, and Ipe. The finished length is 18⅛" and the O/A weight is 5lbs 12.6oz.
